Interesting Gift for Ward-Belmont Students

A news clipping dated 22 November 1914 in which the entire student body of Ward-Belmont collectively won an award from Mrs. Rosika Schwimmer. The award was a gold, ruby-set medal "in appreciation of their interest and sympathy during the recent national suffrage convention." According to a Hyphen article, this medal was set with rubies and pearls, and was meant to go to the young lady who did the most to support the cause of suffrage.
